This self-initiated project brings the Mentos spirit into the beverage world—bright, bubbly, and full of flavor.
It all starts with Research.
The project began with an in-depth market and brand study of Mentos to understand its visual identity, tone, and personality. I analyzed existing brand colors, packaging language, and communication style. This research laid the foundation for my design process, helping me craft a packaging system that feels both authentic to Mentos and fresh for a new category.

Label Design
Exploring Typography, Color & Flavor
A Bold Visual Language for a Bubbly Beverage
After the initial research, I explored various font styles through multiple iterations to determine what best fit Mentos’ playful yet punchy identity. I then developed custom typography specifically for the can labels to create a unique, ownable look. Alongside this, I crafted vivid illustrations to match each flavor—introducing four refreshing and bold variants. The visual system was designed to evoke energy, flavor, and fun all at once.


Color and Style
Designed around warm colors, representing a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that complements the fruity and refreshing nature of the soda drink. The color palette goes with the original look and feel of the brand. It includes pop shades of orange, red, yellow, and hints of green, evoking emotions of excitement and happiness.
Using custom funky fonts for creating a sense of uniqueness. Then made them on illustrator after base sketching done on paper.

Final Output
Refreshing, Youthful & Bold—Just What It Aimed to Be
The final output successfully brought the Mentos vibe into a fresh beverage identity—fun, energetic, and visually striking. The designs resonated particularly well with a younger demographic, thanks to the bold typography, vibrant color palette, and playful illustrations. We received great feedback with only minor tweaks suggested, and the overall concept was appreciated for its clarity, style, and market-ready appeal.
